Our SG1 (junior class) Wetterwolke vom Alpenhof (Storm) has been bred to V Fedo vom Kleinen Holzweg, Sch 2, kkl1a. He is a beautiful male that is standing stud here. Thanks to Robin at vom Ravelholz kennels for allowing me to purchase this beautiful big boy for a year. His progeny are showing very well and he has a puppy in K9 training. Excellent lines in both these dogs with multiple VAs including VA Esko vom Danischen Hof, multiple VA Karly von Arminius,, VA Ulk von Arlett, VA Dux della Valcuvia, as well as V Baru von Haus Yu (known for his excellent working abilities), and Kirschental herding lines too! There are 11 VA titled dogs in this litters four generation pedigree and very little linebreeding!

We are a small hobby breeder in Missouri specializing in some of the best West German Show lines available. German Shepherds are all we own! Our dogs are members of the family, and puppies are born in our home. As they grow older, they are allowed to explore the outdoors and are socialized. We enjoy Schutzhund as a sport and are members of Schutzhund USA . We are dedicated to producing quality German Shepherds. Our dogs are bred for intelligence, workability, health, and correct structure. Occasionally we will have a litter of very nice quality pups available suitable for families. Some may even be suitable for K-9 or Search and Rescue work.

About the German Shepherd Dog:
He is extremely intelligent and make excellent companions and watchdogs, as well as a good family pet, if trained properly by a person familiar with the breed. By training your dog well, and encouraging family members to establish a position of authority over the dog, you will foster a protective, mutually enriching experience for both you and your pet. Obedience training as a puppy is a must. They are excellent protectors of their "pack," often trying to "herd" your family for your own protection. In addition, they do not require clipping or excessive grooming, but they will blow their coats twice yearly. Max Von Stephanitz, the father of the German Shepherd Dog, is quoted as saying that "The most striking features of the correctly bred German Shepherd are firmness of nerves, attentiveness, unshockability, tractability, watchfulness, reliability and incorruptibility together with courage, fighting, tenacity and hardness." With that in mind, and proper training, socialization and exercise, a German Shepherd Dog can make an excellent family member!
