Dax is a nice large, desirable male, with excellent pigment and typical head and excellent temperment and great drives. He is producing well. He is an up and coming stud dog for Whirling Thunder Kennels. Currently, he is preparing for the WDA ( Working Dogs Association) Nationals He is one of the few German Showlines that can compete at this level! He competed at NASS (North American Seiger Show) in 2008 and is also scheduled to be shown at NASS this fall. Dax 's pedigree includes many VA's including the desirable VA Quartz dei Templari (Dax's grandsire), VA Dux della Valcuvia (Dax's grandsire), VA1 Ulk von Arlett, VA2 (B) Mischale von der Kahler Heide (Dax's sire) , VA3(B) V3(1993 BSZS) Amigo vom Belgier, VA1(I) Una della Valcuvia, VA8 Max della Loggia dei Mercanti, Uran vom Wildsteiger Land, and going back to VA Eiko vom Kirschental!

Storm is a large female with beautiful movement and a highly desirable pedigree based heavily on Kirschental herding lines as well as VA Ursus v. Batu Sch3, VA Ulk v. Arlett Sch3 and other multiple VAs. She is also the granddaughter of V Baru vom Haus Yu Sch3, a desirable male due to his great working abilities. She is very intelligent and high dirve for a showline. She is a great home protector, loves to go for rides, throughly enjoys runs next to me on a bike, is gentle and loving with our children, and curls up at our feet to watch TV at night. She can also have a very goofy/happy side to her when she gets excited. Spring is her favorite time of year because she gets to chase the dragonflies! On the sleeve she has a full calm grip. SV Judge Daniel Thibaut noted that she was "large, dry and firm. High in the withers. Croup" could be better positioned". Of very good type. Typical head. Excellent lineage. Straight coming and going. Excellent movement. Overall, very good."
This is an exciting litter! Five gorgeous puppies! A great pedigree with very little linebreeding.. There are 13 VA titled dogs within this four generation pedigree to give good quality! We are expecting high drive, highly intelligent, energetic puppies with very good temperments, suitable for homes/active families. Puppies are socialized and helped to adjust to the world using the "Puppies Rule of 7" A few may be suitable for show/Schutzhund . Dax is a great producer to date. We are combining this to bring together Kirschental working/herding lines, and expect some great pups that will have been well socialized prior to placing in their new homes.

PUPPY DIARY Storm "A" Litter
New Born Puppies on 3/17/10! St. Patrick's Day Babies!
Five healthy babies. Storm did a great job, she knew just what to do! All babies are nursing well and moving about.
Puppies at three weeks:
All our eyes are open and we are hearing all kinds of sound. Our momma loves us and takes very good care of us keeping us fed and clean and playing with us. Storm is a great first time mom!
Puppies four weeks:
We get to go outside for the first time. We love to have the kids play with us, and cry for them to come play whenever we see them enter the room. We are learning about crates and being able to sleep in different places for a short time. The puppies play area was added on to the whelping box and we are working on the early stages of potty training (learning to poo and pee away from where you sleep).
Puppies five weeks,
We are learning to eat kibble and Storm is starting to wean us. We love to play and run. We have already met lots of people, and get trips outside as long as it is not raining. We are taking tours through the house on the carpet and tile, in and out of different rooms. We are now sleeping quietly through the night in our puppy pen.
Puppies seven weeks:
We are loving our kibble and Storm has almost weaned us completely, she still plays with us and cleans us up though. We love to play and run, of all the toys we have, our favorite toy is an empty milk jug! It is noisy and rolls funny. We get so excited to be outside in the grass, its a great thing. Now we are sleeping in a larger puppy pen. We are getting sleep time in a crate. The boys "parts" are popping, and everybodies ears are starting to come up! A few more weeks and we will all have "teepee" ears!
Puppies eight weeks:
We got to visit with a new dog friend! The kids brought out umbrellas, crutches, funny glasses and funny faces to get us used to weird situations. We are completely weaned, but Storm still plays and cleans up after us. We eat Blue puppy food three times a day, and sometimes get a little treat like pumpkin or cantaloupe or egg. Yum!.
Puppies nine weeks:
We got our first vaccination - Parvo/Distemper and everybody is doing great. Everybodys ears are almost up! We are learning to sit and wait patiently for our kibble, well at least until the bowl is set down! Wednesday we get microchipped and then some of us will be off to our new families!
