SIRE:    V  Fedo vom Kleinen Holzweg   Sch2, Kkl1  certified  "a normal"  hips    "a fast normal" elbows

Fedo is a nice large, desirable male, with excellent pigment,  typical head, excellent temperment and good drives. He is producing well, and has several excellent progeny in show and Schutzhund, and one in K9 training.  He is a stud dog, and was owned by Ravenholz Kennels, he now resides with us here at von Wenzelburg.  Thank you Robin for allowing us to purchase this beautiful boy.  Fedo has placed very well when shown in Europe and the United States.   Fedo's pedigree includes many VA's (top in show) including the desirable two-time VA Karly von Arminius (Fedo's greatgrandsire), VA Dux della Valcuvia (Fedo's grandsire),    VA2 (1999 BSZS) Jango vom Furstenburg (Fedo's grandsire) , VA3 Esko vom Danischen Hof  (Fedo's sire) ,  VA1(I) Una della Valcuvia,   VA8 Max della Loggia dei Mercanti, and going back to VA Kimon von Dan Alhedy's Hoeve!   Fedo enjoys bike rides, is protective of his home and loves to play with his Wubbie ball!

DAM:    SG1 Wetterwolke vom Alpenhof (Storm) AD
OFA  certified   "good" hips, "normal" elbows

Storm is a large female with beautiful movement and a highly desirable pedigree based heavily on Kirschental herding lines as well as  VA Ursus v. Batu Sch3, VA Ulk v. Arlett Sch3 and other multiple VAs. She is also the granddaughter of V Baru vom Haus Yu Sch3, a desirable male due to his great working abilities. She is very intelligent and high dirve for a showline.   On the Schutzhund field, she has a nice, calm full grip.  SV Judge Daniel Thibaut noted that she was "large, dry and firm.  High in the withers.   Croup" could be better positioned". Of very good type.  Typical head.  Excellent lineage.  Straight coming and going.  Excellent movement.  Overall, very good."   Storm is a great home protector, loves to go for rides, throughly enjoys runs next to me on a bike, is gentle and loving with our children, and curls up at our feet to watch TV at night.  She can also have a very goofy/happy side to her when she gets excited.  Spring is her favorite time of year because she gets to chase the dragonflies!  This is her second litter, and she is producing very well, and is a wonderful mom.
This is an exciting litter and a repeat breeding!    A great pedigree with very little linebreeding,  (less linebreeding means more in the gene pool and in general, healthier pups).   Only a 5,5-5 linebreeding on Kimon van Dan Alhedy's Hoeve.    There are 11 different VA titled dogs(top in show)  within this four generation pedigree to give good quality!  We are expecting high drive, highly intelligent, energetic puppies with very good temperments, suitable for homes/active families.  A few may be suitable for show or Schutzhund or possibly K-9 work as we had in the past litter.  Puppies are socialized and helped to adjust to the world using the "Puppies Rule of 7".   Fedo is a great producer to date, as is our Storm.  We are combining this to bring together Kirschental herding Showlines and German Showlines, and expect some great pups that will have been well socialized prior to placing in their new homes.

About Our Puppies

-------Should you be interested in any of our litters we request you take just a couple of minutes and fill out our Puppy Application Form on the link below. A German Shepherd Dog is a working breed, and must be provided with family contact and various positive experiences..

Decision of puppy placement is solely up to the Breeder.  I will accept PAYPAL for deposits only.   Puppy prices are $1500 for pet quality (limited registration),  and $1700 for show quality (full  registration).  Shipping is additional.  As a buyer, If you later decide to breed, your dog must be over two years old and have OFA hip and elbow certification of "fair"  or better with normal elbows,  or SV certification as "a" fast normal or better with normal elbows. Puppy Diary

May 14th-  Birth day!  The puppies began arriving, first Brando at 7:55pm weighing in at a whopping 1lb 7oz, then Blitz at 11:25pm weighing 1lb 8oz, and finally Brigitta, very solid, noisy and wriggling at 1am Sunday, weighing 1lb 8oz.  All are feeding immediately and look strong and fat!  We kept waiting for more, as Storm kept nesting, but that was all.  A very slow labor for her.  The vet came and checked over Mom and babies and all are doing well.

One week old!  Everybody is fat and fantastic.  Personalities are beginning to show.  Gitta is very pushy and demanding, she definitely is the dominant one, pushing the boys out of the way to eat, and cries herself to sleep if she is too tired. She weighs in at 2lbs 12oz!  Blitz needs a little one on one time with mom for some extra feeding, as he only weighs 2lbs 5oz.  He loves to culldle with the children and be held on his back, and falls asleep easily.  Brando sniffs and sniffs, is that someone new?  Brando is a solid packed 2lbs and 11oz and loves to snuggle with mom's nose.  Everybody got their first toenail clip.

2 weeks old.  Brando is already walking, shaky, but strong.  He tries to scamper to find Gitta for a play session of open mouthing each other.  His eyes are the first to open, so he likes to hide his head under the pigrails from the light.  Gitta is still pushing the boys out of the way to get to the food first.  She is long in body and very black.  Little Blitz seems to be everybody's favorite, and is just about caught up with the other two.  His coat is super plush, and his head is massive for his size.  He is just a quiet snoozer.  All the puppies have doubled their birth weights and then some!

3 weeks old.  All the puppies eyes are open and ears are starting to open.  They are using their nose to find our hands, for a pet or a snuggle.  The happy tails wags are great to see!  Brando is very independent, always exploring everything as fast as his shakey legs will let him go.  He cries for attention already, and loves to cuddle.  Little Blitz is just the sweetest, loves to play with his brother and sister, and is a big time snuggler.  Gitta is always waking up her brothers for a play session, likes to give her momma lots of kisses and us too!

4 weeks old - We got to go for our first car ride!  Everybody was quiet but excited.  We all got checked over by the vet, and Blitz got some extra attention, just to make sure he is thriving.  We were a little worried about him, but today he is playing and trying to run, and the first to eat!  He is the little guy in the litter and just needs to catch up.  What a difference some time, and vitamins and probiotics will make.  Everybody is getting lots of play time out of the whelping box to explore, play with toys and get some cuddling.  Later at home, we got to meet a bunch of new people, including some kids.  That was exciting, those little noses were getting a workout!

5 Weeks old - Outside here we come!  The grass and gravel in the driveway was so exciting for everybody!  We just love to romp in the cool mornings, and have a game of follow the leader through the yard.  Mom is starting to wean us, a little, she still cleans us and loves to lay down so we can play with her tail and ears.  Puppy food is awesome, and everyone is transistioning well.

6 Weeks old - Everybody has a new home they will be going to soon!  We are pigging out on puppy food, and know when it is coming.  We are working on the first stages of puppy potty training.  We use the whelping box for potty and keep our play are clean.  This week we will start with a little crate training, and eating out of different containers in strange places.  The kids will get out masks and crutches and see what we do.  Stairs are coming soo.  All part of socialization!  Brando is easy going and self assured, and a big boy!  Gitta is the alpha diva, has been since day one, and full of energy.  Blitz is the talkative little prancer, and full of personality.

9 Weeks old- Everybody is ready to go to their new homes.
